The memberships & membership types in the statutes and the organizations listed below regarding membership and support will be voted on at the General Assembly on May 22, 2025.
Supporters
Supporters are distinct from Swiss & international Members, offering support either financially or in any kind to The Swiss Affiliate (services, modeling resources, free work, symposium contributors etc.). Swiss Affiliate Supporters are not included in the Swiss Membership as health organisations or industry companies. Many thanks for your support!
Members - international & Swiss
Platin-Members of openEHR.ch (CHF 5000.- per Year)
Platin Swiss Partner membership is available for health or industry organizations. In complying to the international affiliate agreements, every Swiss member (individual, organisation or industry) has to additionally get the international membership as well.
Benefits
- Right to nominate one representative in the openEHR.ch Board of Directors
- Right to register up to 20 employees as company members
- Right to contribute to development of product conformance & certification process
- Right to present on Symposium (once a year)
- Clinical Model change requests may be prioritised over those from other members or non-members
- Company & representative visibility on openEHR.ch website
- Right to post openEHR.ch related industry news and events
- Employees of an Platin Partner can be a member of Swiss Program Committees
- When all education programs completed, right to be named as openEHR certified organisation
- Employees can apply for education provider recognition
- Right to vote in open meetings
Gold-Members of openEHR.ch (CHF 3000.- per Year)
Gold Partner membership is available for all health or industry organisations. In complying to the international affiliate agreements, every Swiss member (individual, organisation or industry) has to additionally get the international membership as well

- Right to register up to 10 employees as company members
- Right to contribute to development of product conformance & certification process
- Clinical Model change requests may be prioritised over those from other members or non-members

- Employees of a Gold Partner can be a member of Swiss Program Committees
- When all education programs completed, right to be named as openEHR certified organisation
- Right to vote in open meetings
Silver-Members of openEHR.ch (CHF 1500.- per Year)
Silver Partner membership is available for all health organisations. In complying to the international affiliate agreements, every Swiss member (individual, organisation or industry) has to additionally get the international membership as well.

- Right to register up to 5 employees as company members
- Right to contribute to development of product conformance & certification process
- Company & representative visibility on openEHR.ch website

Academic, Startups and associations
This membership costs 850 CHF per year and includes international membership as well. In complying to the international affiliate agreements, every Swiss member (individual, organisation or industry) has to additionally get the international membership as well. Following organisations are qualifying* for this membership.

* Qualification as startup:
Startups companies pay CHF 500 membership fee per financial year for two years when:
- the company is in the process of being founded
- the company is demonstrably still not profitable
- Individual entrepreneurs and companies with up to a maximum of 20 employees, subject to the fulfillment of the above requirements
Companies that are founded as a subsidiary or are financed more than 50% by investors or public funding do not count as startups. The transition to one of the membership model membership status occurs after the above mentioned criteria (a.-c.) no longer apply.
* Qualification as Academic organization
Public sector and official educational background in school, technical schools or universities
Individual Membership
Individual membership costs 22 € (in current exchange rate CHF) per individual and includes international and Swiss membership (Swiss membership fee is free). In complying to the international affiliate agreements, every Swiss member (individual, organisation or industry) has to additionally get the international membership as well.
